Requests to have documents authenticated in Alberta may be forwarded to the Official Documents and Appointments branch of Alberta Justice, room 111, Bowker Building, 9833 - 109 Street, Edmonton, Alberta, T5K 2E8. Requests are also handled in person on a first-come, first-served basis.

For authentication the following will be required: the document -- signed, sealed and dated by an Alberta lawyer or Notary Public; $10 (Canadian funds) payable to the Minister of Finance for each document to be authenticated; and a return address so that materials may be returned.
