In celebration of Conflict Resolution Day, a number of government and community groups have been working together to bring you a number of interactive events so you can learn more about the different conflict management process that are available here in Alberta.
Our lunch time sessions will be held at 40 locations across the province.
How to Prevent and Resolve Business Disputes
Are you being sued, or are you at risk of being sued? Invoiced for services that were incomplete or unsatisfactory? Waiting to receive payment for services that you have provided? Having a disagreement with a business partner or employee? This session will cover the spectrum of options that are available to you. Topics will include business or commercial disputes, neighborhood disputes, workplace and employee disputes, divorce and separation, youth crime, and litigation.

- The 15th of October, 2009 is “Conflict Resolution Day” in Alberta. From 12:00 pm – 1:10 pm at the Business Link, #250, 639 - 5th Avenue SW, Standard Life Tower, Calgary, AB, The Alberta Conflict Resolution Day Committee will host an interactive four panel member video conference discussion on ADR options in Alberta. This video conference has the potential to connect with 35 different communities in Alberta. The panel members are experts in the fields of mediation, arbitration, restorative justice and the law.
