You are invited to participate in the 5th annual Jerry P. Selinger Invitational Golf Tournament on Thursday, June 23rd, 2005 at the Elks Lodge & Golf Club in Calgary. Last year’s event was an overwhelming success! Everyone who participated had a great time and a total of $66,613 was raised for t he Peter Lougheed Centre’s Primary Pulmonary Hypertension Greatest Needs Fund and the HomeFront Jerry P. Selinger Memorial Fund. This brings the total raised by the tournament to over $260,000 in the past four years!

Proceeds from this year’s tournament will, once again, be directed equally to the Peter Lougheed Centre’s Primary Pulmonary Hypertension (PPH) Greatest Needs Fund – providing support to patients in Southern Alberta who suffer from PPH, and to The HomeFront Jerry P. Selinger Memorial Fund – providing counseling for children victimized directly or traumatized by witnessing abuse of a parent. A small portion of the funds raised also supports the Jerry P. Selinger Awards – an annual event that recognizes front line workers who have shown courage and dedication in their fight against domestic violence.

The tournament fee of $225 per person includes lunch, golf, cart and evening banquet. To register for the tournament, please contact Bobbi Turko in Events & Sponsorships at the Calgary Health Trust by phone at (403) 943-0619 or email bturko@thetrust.ca. To register online or for more information about the tournament, please visit the Jerry P. Selinger Trust website at www.selingertrust.ca.
