Using mediation to solve civil disputesAlbertans who find themselves in a civil dispute now have another tool to resolve their disagreements. As of January 1, anyone who files actions in the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, in the judicial districts of Lethbridge/Macleod and Edmonton, can use the Civil Mediation Project as a means for accessing interest-based mediation to help solve their civil disputes.
