Selinger Golf Tournament set for June 24
You are invited to the Jerry P. Selinger Invitational Golf Tournament to be held on June 24 at the Elks Lodge & Golf Club in Calgary.
Jerry Selinger, Q.C., Calgary's former Chief Crown Prosecutor, died in May 2000 of complications arising from primary pulmonary hypertension, a rare lung and heart disorder that affects children and adults.
Proceeds from this year's tournament will be divided between the Home Front Jerry P. Selinger Memorial Fund and the Peter Lougheed Centre Pulmonary Hypertension Greatest Needs Fund. Last year's tournament raised over $55,000.
Tournament registration is $200 per person (includes snacks, golf, cart and evening banquet).
