Victims training manual captures silver medal
A major project to develop a four-volume training manual for victim service units received a silver Premier's Award of Excellence June 24.
The two-year-project was completed by representatives from the Alberta Solicitor General, the Alberta Police Based Victims Services Association, RCMP "K" Division, the Alberta Association of Chiefs of Police and the Alberta First Nations Chiefs of Police Association. Alberta Justice shared a bronze award for its work on the Agricultural Operation Practices Act and on the Climate Change Project team.
